Hyundai is the most popular name in Indian car market next to Maruti. Hyundai Santro experienced unprecedented success with its zip-model and state of art driving technology. Hyundai Motors India Limited is now country’s second largest car manufacturer and has an impressive portfolio to boast about.
But Hyundai is not complacent and have several plans for the next few years to expand its wings in India. Hyundai is bringing its small car by 2011 which will compete with Maruti 800 and other small cars from Fiat, Nissan, Mahindra Renault and even Maruti’s strongest portfolio of small cars. Hyundai seriously lacks its presence in the SUV segment and its model Hyundai Tucson was impactless. Hyundai now intends to replace Hyundai Tucson with its most stylish model Hyundai Santa Fe.
