The German auto maker BMW is all set to unveil its new vehicle 5 series Gran Turismo (GT) at the forthcoming Auto Expo 2010. The company intends to launch this vehicle in both petrol and diesel engine this year. Initially, only 100 units of the vehicle will be available for sale in India. The unique features of the class one vehicle are: enough space, estate like exteriors and body, better ground clearance. The vehicle will be equipped with 400 bhp,twin-turbo direct injected 4.4 litre V8 550i GT.
In addition to this, the German company is likely to showcase BMW X6 M (a SUV), A 760i car, BMW 3 series models and BMW 5 series products. The auto major will also display its small SUV for the affluent class in India. The compact SUV is named as BMW X1 and is going to be pitted against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Captiva and Honda SUVs. The small SUV might be priced around Rs 25-30 lakh. The SUV will be powered by a 6.0 litre, V12 engine.
